Oh boy! That boy “Harry Potter” is making his entrance into Melanie’s Share Your World, via special edition: “Harry Potter” themed questions cooked up by Roger Shipp. Let’s go!
Because of the state-wide quarantines many of the local SPCA’s are having an influx of animals. You have decided that you would love to have a new pet. Would you go the normal wizardry route and pick and owl, a cat, or a toad? Or would you become a more eccentric wizard (like Hagrid, the games keeper) and seek out a three-headed dog, a dragon, or a unicorn? Please explain your answer.
The Dra-Gon: because deep inside this fearsome exterior is a heart of gold, waiting,
to unleash its awesome powers which are innumerable
and jostle one another for supremacy
until they are needed in the hour of greatest need
against that villainous monster, MALADORK, the unnameable but named all the same.
Neville Longbottom was gifted a Remembrall. This was a glass ball that would assist you in maintaining memories of things that you often forget. What would you want your Remembrall to help you remember?
I would want to remember everything good that I ever forgot.
Also, I would want to remember to feed Dra-Gon.
Professor Dumbledore gave Harry Potter an invisibility cloak that Dumbledore said was from Harry’s father. Now, you have inherited a cloak with similar powers. Would you use it? When?
I would definitely use it when I’d forgotten to feed Dra-Gon.
While cleaning your attic, you have discovered the Mirror of Erised. (“Erised” is “desire” spelled backwards, as if reflected in a mirror) The Mirror of Erised is a magical mirror, which, according to Professor Dumbledore, when you gaze into it, it shows the “deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts.” You have chosen to look in the mirror. What do you see?
The evil Mala-dork falls prey to a cursed philosopher’s stone that restores him to life at the very moment that Dra-Gon is hungriest, casting him in an unending cycle of reincarnation that dooms him to be eternally consumed.
Would You Rather Live 120 Years That Are Comfortable But Boring, Or Live Half As Long, But Have An Exciting Adventure Packed Life?
Wow, this one is tough. How can I explain that I live about 120 years every day of my life and each year is comfortable, boring, exciting, and adventurous? You’d probably say it was all in my imagination, so I won’t try.
What’s Something That Overwhelms You?
Being asked to present my evidence for the answers above.😅
What Do or DID You Take For Granted?
My health, until I lost it. The up-side is, I began to discover that affliction, no matter what its form, brings you face to face with not what, but who, really matters. And that’s a blessing.

Thanks for Sharing Your World! I think Dra-gon is ADORABLE (don’t tell him. I don’t want to be toasted!) ☺ It’s true that we find out who not what is valuable when we’re having difficulties. The true ones come to our aid and offer solace, while others might just melt away. That’s kinda sad. Have a great week! ☺
